Hello all,
This isn't a problem on my pc, but a freinds instead.
Details:
1.) O.S=Windows XP SP2
2.) Virus Protection software=Windows Live One Care
Problem:
Form the time of start-up until shut down the following icon appears in the systems tool bar area. A little yellow triangle box with various messages about not having antispyware and such. It wants you to click there to correct the problem. Every time you do it takes to this page: http://topantispywarereviews.com/?aid=38... It wants you to download or buy this product. However, I have done a full system scan at http://www.pccillin.com/ and removed everything? I have also checked IE add-ons and even done msconfig also done a registry look-up? I still can't find this thing it seems to have more lives than a cat.. Can some please help me find how to remove this bugger?
Thanks loads..

pc-cillin only checks for viruses, but you have spyware.
Try spybot
I think your friends system is infected with an adware.Install Spybot-Search%26Destroy, update it and run a scan on the system. It will eliminate the problem.
Try Online scanner GarbageClean http://www.GarbageClean.com
Spybot or AdAware do a great job.
Your computer has a Smitfraud infection. Follow the procedure and use the recommended RogueFix tool to remove it.
